Global Nickel Production Will Grow By 6.8% in 2021, Led By Brazil, Indonesia And The Philippines--PUDA MACHINE

Global nickel production is expected to grow 6.8 percent to 24.274 million tons in 2021, according to a report by data analytics firm GlobalData. Global nickel production fell 4.2% to 22.72 million tons in 2020 due to lockdown and restrictions caused by COVID-19. Brazil, Indonesia and the Philippines will be the main contributors to nickel production growth this year, with output rising 24 per cent, 16.3 per cent and 5.1 per cent respectively, the report said. By contrast, production in South Africa and Russia is expected to fall 15.8 per cent and 13.8 per cent respectively.
